Covers the foundations of the video game industry and the fundamentals of audience analysis and data-driven decision making. Students learn how games are distributed and monetized, and how to use market research and analytics to evaluate opportunities and player engagement. Through hands-on exercises, case studies and short data labs, students gain practical insight into how creativity, players and strategy intersect across the modern games ecosystem.
