Catalog description

Explores the field of science and technology studies and asks how technology intersects with society and social groups. Science and technology studies is grounded in the social sciences and includes both theoretical and methodological contributions from sociology, communication, anthropology and political science as well as women's and gender studies, media studies and law. Covers an extensive range of social science research methodologies and practices and provides a hands-on approach to qualitative methods and data visualization. Provides a wide range of critiques and calls within the current political and social climate.
