Neuropathology of Degenerative Diseases

Catalog description

This course will provide instruction in neurodegenerative disorders including neuropathology, neuropsychological considerations, and treatment. Students can expect to develop a basic understanding of common neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s, Frontal-temporal dementia, and Lewy Body Dementia. We will also cover expected psychometric results specific to each disease and important testing considerations.
