This course examines the role of healthcare leaders in assuring the delivery of high-quality, equitable healthcare to all populations. Students will analyze healthcare delivery systems through the lens of improvement science, focusing on sustainable strategies that enhance quality, safety, and access while addressing systemic health disparities. Emphasis is placed on the leader’s role as an executive, practice expert, change agent, and educator in driving transformation across diverse healthcare settings. The course also addresses compliance with state and federal regulations, standards of care, and strategies for embedding equity-focused quality improvement initiatives
