Catalog description

Focuses on health promotion, illness prevention and health maintenance care throughout the lifespan. It emphasizes assessment and management of the individual and family in the health care setting. Research, evidence-based practice guidelines and theories related to nursing or behavioral sciences are utilized in decision making and clinical management. Students apply the Holistic Caring Tapestry within the nurse practitioner role. Notes: This course has an additional fee.
