Catalog description

This course is designed to build a solid foundation in dietetic practice. The course will cover the history of the dietetics field, the scope of practice of dietitians, health care ethics, theories of adult learning, and basic counseling skills. The foundational knowledge gained in this course will be built upon through future courses in the dietetics program.
