Documenting Life Learning

Catalog description

This course fosters in-depth understanding and appreciation of the correlation between experience and learning. Students are supported to conceptualize their prior knowledge and skills and draft documentation that demonstrates discernable outcomes that will subsequently be evaluated for college credits. For each area of prior learning, students will write a reflective narrative and compile an annotated resource bibliography that demonstrates their learning, which will become the basis for subsequent assessment. Successful completion of EDU-3020 Mapping Prior Learning is a prerequisite to this course.
