Master’s Project - DT
Antioch University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
The purpose of the master’s project is to integrate the student’s academic coursework and clinical experience/interests into an in-depth project. The master’s project will involve a solid undertaking that contributes to the field of drama therapy and Antioch University Seattle. It is a project that is initiated by the student and collaboratively designed by the student and chair/faculty advisor. Other faculty member(s) in the drama therapy and psychology programs may be utilized as needed. It is expected that the completed project will be of publishable quality AND be able to be presented at the national level. The master’s project is expected to be no less rigorous than a master’s thesis. However, it may be more expansive in its design, use of materials (i.e., video, art, performance), application (i.e., through an exhibition/workshops), and purpose (i.e., expand awareness of the field of drama therapy). Projects may be art-based, including self revelatory performance, but are expected to include no less academic rigor.
