Advisory: Completion of SOC 101 This course provides a broad social and historical study of the major characteristics of the second largest minority in the United States and the largest in the Southwest. Attention will be given to the ethnic, sexual, social, educational, cultural, economic, and political elements which differentiate the Mexican-American from the dominant and other groups in the United States.
