Fundamentals of Intensive Respiratory Care

Catalog description

Limitation on Enrollment: Formal admission to Respiratory Care program. Prerequisite: Completion of RCP 105 with a grade of "C" or better. Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in RCP 201 and RCP 203. This course provides theory and practice in respiratory care of the intensive care patient. Emphasis is placed upon the critical care environment, clinical assessment and monitoring, advanced airway management and continuous ventilatory support. (AVC)
