Neonatal and Pediatric Respiratory Care

Catalog description

Limitation on Enrollment: Formal admission to Respiratory Care program. Prerequisite: Completion of RCP 105 with a grade of "C" or better. Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in RCP 202 and RCP 203. This course provides an introduction to respiratory care of the neonatal and pediatric patient. Emphasis is placed upon growth and development, pathophysiology, clinical assessment, treatment, resuscitation, and mechanical ventilatory support. (AVC)
