Fluoroscopic Imaging and Radiation Protection

Catalog description

Limitation on Enrollment: Formal admission to Radiologic Technology Program. Prerequisite: Completion of RADT 201 with a grade of "C" or better. Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in RADT 202, RADT 204 and RADT 210. This course provides an introduction to the fluoroscopic imaging system and methods of reducing public and occupational doses of radiation. The course prepares students for national certification and the California Fluoroscopy Permit Exam. (CSU, AVC)
