Catalog description
Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL C1000 (ENGL 101) with a grade of "C" or better. This course provides experience in building basic terms commonly used in the medical field using prefixes, suffixes, and word roots. An introduction to anatomy and physiology is used to illustrate applications of terms in a body systems approach. (CSU, AVC)
