Catalog description
Prerequisite: Completion of Intermediate Algebra or placement by Multiple Measures. This course is designed to equip Career Technical Education students with the mathematical competencies needed in today's workplace. Topics include college level algebra, measurement units and conversion, estimation, geometry, trigonometry, and basic statistics and probability. It will use technology for visualization and problem solving. Applications and modeling using quantitative reasoning will be emphasized. (CSU, AVC)
