A $15 instructional materials fee is required to cover the cost of the AHA certification and must be paid at registration. This course prepares healthcare providers to recognize and manage critically ill infants and children using the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) guidelines. Students will review pediatric assessment, respiratory and circulatory emergencies, shock management, and cardiac arrest protocols. Emphasis is placed on team dynamics, algorithm-based interventions, and high-performance simulation scenarios. This course is intended for healthcare professionals working in emergency, intensive care, and prehospital settings. Students who successfully complete all written and practical components will be eligible for AHA PALS Provider certification. The PALS Provider certification is valid for two years. (R unlimited)
