Computer Concepts and Applications in Business

Catalog description

This course includes an examination of information systems and their role in business. The focus will be on information systems, electronic spreadsheets, database management systems, networking, e-commerce, ethics and security, and computer systems hardware and software components. This course includes the application of these concepts and methods in a business environment through hands-on projects developing computer-based solutions to business problems.
