Catalog description

Advisory: Completion of CA 171 or CA 182. This course introduces students to the knowledge and skills needed to rapidly detect cybersecurity breaches and effectively respond to security incidents. Students will learn to be part of a team of people in a Security Operations Center (SOC) and how to keep a vigilant eye on security systems and protect their organizations by detecting and responding to cybersecurity threats. This course helps prepare students to take the required exams to achieve the CCNA Cyber Ops certification. (CSU, AVC)
