Doctoral Integrative Seminar

Catalog description

Students will prepare for and complete the doctoral qualifying exam, both written and oral defense components, and a portfolio assessment. A score of at least 80% on each exam item is required to pass the exam. Students may retake each item once if a passing score is not achieved. Students must pass the qualifying exam in order to enter candidacy for the doctoral degree. Failure to pass the qualifying exam results in dismissal from the pro - gram. Students will also begin the doctoral capstone project proposal.
