Macro Policy Analysis

Catalog description

This advanced course builds upon policy practice skills and knowledge and macro community prac- tice techniques. Course content presents frameworks for policy research and analysis. Students will conduct advanced analysis and critique of social welfare policies that affect families and diverse and oppressed populations. Students will develop advocacy and intervention tech - niques aimed at positively impacting social welfare and public policies. Students will also develop written and verbal persuasion skills.
