Psychology of Gender

Catalog description

The course will explore how gender differences manifest themselves in all aspects of people’s lives, including lifespan development, relationships, media, violence, work, and mental health, emphasizing psychological concepts rather then biological sex. Students will learn to think critically about gender issues as they are discussed and portrayed in academic and popular media.
