Catalog description

This course examines social, psy - chological, and biological factors that contribute to psychological disor- ders across the life-span. Emphasis will be placed on integrating scien - tific literature, theories, and current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders in applications of identification, assessment, diag- nosis, and treatment of psychological disorders. In addition, the course will present basic knowledge of psychopharmacological medications.
