Critical Reasoning and Logic

Catalog description

This course explores how values and beliefs are manifested in the language we use. By learn- ing to evaluate problems in reasoning and the solutions to them, stu- dents become more aware of linguistic strategies and the impact of those strategies in our human experience. This course helps to assess rationally real life situations in order to avoid common mistakes and assumptions in our culture as well as in other cultures.
