This course provides a comprehensive overview of race/ethnic health dis - parities/health inequities in the U.S. Both historical context and cur - rent perspectives of identified determinants of health inequities. Class discussions will focus on comparing the health status and health out - comes of persons of different racial/ethnic groups and discussing pos - sible explanations, solutions, and ethical implications for these health disparities.
