An evidence-based analytical approach to decision making and problem solving incorporating principles of leadership, collaboration, theory, research and professional practice. Students are provided the op- portunity to evaluate research studies and apply the basic steps of the research process. 4307 Community-Based Health Promotion and Disease Pre- vention (3-0-0). This course explores health promotion and disease prevention in diverse and multi-cultural communities and vulnerable populations. Students create an evidence-based project to improve health in a community setting.
