This course examines major global health challenges, programs, and policies. Students will be introduced to the world’s vast determinants of health and disease. Major global initiatives for disease prevention and health promotion will be investigated. The course also analyzes current and emerging global health priorities, in - cluding poverty, infectious diseases, health inequalities and conflicts. 4337 Statistical Techniques for Health Science Profession- als (3-0). A practical application of health-related statistical analysis providing students with the knowledge and skills needed to read, in - terpret, and evaluate quantitative findings in medical and allied health literature.
