Catalog description

An examination of America in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Topics include, but are not limited to, urbanization, indus - trialization, immigration, Populism, imperialism, reform, and the ways America reflected and shaped global developments. The course will also discuss how discrimination came to affect various non-white groups and the ways such groups fought against racial injustices.
