Catalog description

This course introduces undergraduate students to key analytical methods in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including point pattern and clustering analysis, global and lo - cal spatial autocorrelation, and spatial interpolation. Students will gain hands-on experience using coding, machine learning, and AI tools for data preprocessing, land cover classification, and climate modeling. Emphasis is placed on applying innovative spatial analysis techniques across disciplines such as environmental science, urban planning, pub- lic health, and resource management.
