Catalog description

Introduction to environmental studies through the application of remotely sensed im - agery and geospatial technologies. Students will learn the fundamentals of electromagnetic radiation, sensor technologies, image interpretation, and data analysis. Emphasis is placed on practical applications in ge - ology, biology, environmental science, and land-use studies. Hands-on labs and real-world case studies provide experience working with satel- lite imagery and aerial data.
