Catalog description

This course explores the historical development of water demand and use in the American West, to understand the physical and international- federal-regional and local political aspects of the geography of western water supply and demand, to realize the vulnerability of western water supply to climate variability and change, and for the student to be able to critically analyze proposals designed to alleviate the growing disparity between water supply and demand in the region.
