Covers measurement of eleva- tion, distance, horizontal and vertical angles, using instruments such as levels, theodolites and total stations. Analysis of measurements to deter- mine latitude, longitude and elevation in various coordinated systems as well as measurement errors. Application of survey data to engineering design using GIS and 3-D modeling software.
