Catalog description

This course focuses on understanding and analyzing relationships between developmental se- quences and children’s styles and processes of thinking, problem solv - ing, cooperative interaction, and self-direction. The role of adults in me- diating children’s accomplishments is emphasized through planning of creative classroom experiences during supervised field experiences with young children including supervised experiences with young children. A field-based experience is required.
