This course examines the principles, technologies, and best practices for securing cloud computing environ- ments. Topics include cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), identity and access management, virtualization security, data protection, com - pliance frameworks, and secure application deployment in the cloud. Students will analyze threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks specific to cloud infrastructures, as well as strategies for risk management, incident response, and regulatory compliance. Hands-on labs and case studies provide practical experience with cloud security tools and architectures in platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Upon completion, students will be able to design and evaluate secure cloud-based systems that meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
