Athletic Academic Performance Practicum

Catalog description

This course is designed to prepare athletic - academic advising/counseling students for their roles in the professional field. Focus will be on skills, methods, and strategies used by performance enhancement personnel. This will include supervised intervention laboratories so students may actually practice performance enhancement sessions. Additionally, ar - eas of study will include NCAA athletic-academic guidelines, ethics, record keeping and interdisciplinary teamwork.
