This course presents an overview of security policy issues as fundamental components of for - eign policy. The course takes a narrow view of security policy and ex - amines the topic from the direction of securing America’s borders. The course combines historical description of security policy development, comparative analysis, and theoretical examination. 6356 National Security Council Policy: Preparing for the President (3-0). This course will teach prospective security experts how to think critically about major national security issues. Students will develop the skills required to develop and deliver policy recom - mendations to the President of the United States. Additionally, students will gain an understanding of the interagency, as well as the relationship
