Seminar in Homeland Security

Catalog description

In conjunction with an analysis of current Homeland Security topics, students apply theo - retical concepts of target identification and risk evaluation to develop risk mitigation plans, which are jointly critiqued by their classmates. Students consider various natural and man-made disasters and poten - tial disasters, from an all-hazards perspective. Practical application of open source intelligence to risk analysis and mitigation is a key com - ponent of this course. (Credit may not be earned for this course and Criminal Justice 6301.)
