Catalog description

Introduces the student to the basic principles and practices of international law and legal regimes. Exam - ines traditional and emerging topics in the field: human rights, the Law of the Sea, the Law of Armed Conflict, War Crimes Tribunals, and the International Criminal Court. 4071 Internship (1-6 SCH). This course is designed to familiarize students with the application of knowledge gained in course work and with operations and problems in the field of border and homeland se - curity.
