An introduction to the ap- plication of statistics to biological research. This course will include an introduction to probability, sampling theory, and hypothesis testing. Emphasis will be on common statistical techniques for biological re - search. Course meets concurrently with Biology 4480, but requires ad- ditional readings, papers, discussions, and/or presentations for graduate students.
