Catalog description

This course will focus on human infectious diseases caused by agents that are directly or indirectly trans- missible from animal species to humans. This class will include topical zoonoses such as those caused by coronaviruses as well as classic zoo - noses such as plague and rabies. Course meets concurrently with Biol - ogy 4321 but requires additional readings, papers, discussion, and/or presentations for graduate students.
