A introduc- tory owner’s manual to Earth for nonbiology majors. Includes a survey of contemporary ecological concepts that affect man’s life, values, and culture. Topics include the biosphere and ecosystems, adaptation, en - vironmental pollution, waste management, conservation, population growth, and world food problems. Co-registration for Biology 1109 is suggested. Not intended for Biology majors.
