The composition, properties, and use of materials in glazes. Calculation of glaze formulas and batches. Laboratory exercises in development of color and texture. (May be re - peated for credit with consent of instructor.) 4381 Special Topics (3-0 or 0-6). A course dealing with selected topics in art. (May be repeated once for credit when topic varies.) 4391 Research. A specialized course which may be directed reading or research for superior students majoring in art.
