Ethics in Accounting

Catalog description

This course satisfies the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBPA) 3-hour ethics requirement for CPA exam eligibility. Students learn ethical reasoning, professional values, and the application of AICPA, SEC, and TSBPA ethics rules. A unique focus is placed on artificial intelligence in accounting, exam - ining how AI impacts independence, objectivity, fraud detection and professional judgment.
