Catalog description

Three credit-hours. Three contact hours per week. The purpose of this course is to establish the relationship and working environment between the student and thesis advisor. The student must select a subject matter and obtain advisor’s approval. The thesis advisor will provide feedback and guide the student throughout the process of writing the thesis, including guidance during the research proposal preparation process. In this course, students will apply the principles, methods, and techniques of scientific research and proper academic writing. At the end of the course, the student will have the written thesis proposal. If it has not been completed, then the student will register the course again to culminate the thesis. Students will acquire skills for conducting research, develop scientific reasoning, and enhance communication through academic writing.
