Catalog description

Study of the fundamental concepts of anesthesia. It discusses the historical background, the different types and methods of administration and drugs used by the anesthesiologist so that the surgical procedure can be performed. Emphasis is placed on the dev elopment of knowledge and skills of critical thinking and patient management through conferences and collaborative teamwork. These strategies will allow the student to know the different stages of anesthesia and the possible complications related to it. In addition, the development of communication skills, innovation and quantitative reasoning is facilitated.
