Catalog description

Study of the different methods of disinfection and sterilization used in sterile supplies and operating room. Emphasis on the development of knowledge, skills and abilities of critical thinking and handling of instruments and equipment. This is achieved through lectures and laboratory exercises that allow the student to perform procedures of decontamination, disinfection and sterilization effectively of surgical products and reusable mat erials for the safety and well -being of the patient. In addition, the course develops competences related to technological skills and innovations.
