Catalog description

This course provides in-depth study of early communication development that occurs during the first three years of life; starting with typical and pathological skills in several areas of development and their impact on communication. Clinical observations for analysis will be performed at therapy centers and classroom. Application of laboratory exercises, case study discussions in small groups, and infants and toddlers screening will be performed. Recognize the function of the Early Intervention program that provides services at Puerto Rico, Avanzando Juntos, through the Puerto Rico Health Department.
