PRACTICUM I: SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE

Catalog description

This is the first of the courses required in the Professional Practice component and allows the student to demonstrate professional and ethical behavior by insertion into a practice setting (agency or direct service organization) under the supervision of a Social Work professional. It facilitates the development of skills in the application of the Generalist Method in the indirect and direct service with individuals and diverse families, as w ell as in the documentation and writing of files. Requires a minimum of 300 hours of practice.
