Catalog description

In this course the student is introduced to the benefits of pulmonary rehabilitation and home care programs promoting in the student the development of his competence of ethics and diversity. It allows the student to develop their scientific reasoning and innovation compete ncies including the study of oxygen therapy, nutritional support, smoking cessation programs, pharmacological therapy, sleep disorders, respiratory exercises, and guidelines for the management of a lung rehabilitation program and diagnostic techniques for patient selection. It will also train the student in the handling of life support materials and equipment.
