FUNDAMENTALS OF LEAN MANUFACTURING - SIX SIGMA

Catalog description

In this course the student acquires the fundamental concepts of Lean Manufacturing ("Lean Manufacturing"), Six Sigma and other contemporary performance improvement methodologies or quality management systems. The student will try to determine the cause -effect relationship to predict, improve and optimize the operation of the process. In additio n, basic lean manufacturing tools are used such as: 5S, Kaizen and others. Students will develop competencies in critical thinking and design that are required for professionals in this field.
