Catalog description
Application of the concepts of statistical process control (SPC) in variables and attributes including statistical computations and control limits. Identification of patterns and sampling frequency including rational subgroups. In addition, this course works with computations of capacity in process. Sound meters, thermometers, pressure gauges and other instruments are used for the purpose of statistical analysis. Students will develop competencies in critical thinking, technology, quantitative reasoning, and design that are required for professionals in this field. Students will develop competencies in scientific reasoning.
