Catalog description

This course is designed to analyze the impact of cultural differences in the practice of counseling psychology, the interactive effects of gender, race, and ethnicity. The process and elements of the practitioner’s worldview and the client’s worldview and the cross-cultural counseling methods are studied. It will provide students the opportunity to acquire and demonstrate substantial graduate -level understanding of and competence in issues of cultural and individual diversity.
